Winter Weather

2/4/2013

These past couple of weeks of severe cold weather that we have experienced in the Excelsior, Mn area can be very troublesome for our aging parents and for that matter all of us. We must all be aware of our surroundings as we can fall on icy steps, our seniors must be cautious with the shoveling of snow during this time of year especially with the cold nights. Imagine sitting in front of a nice warm fireplace and letting someone else battle the cold. The few dollars saved by shoveling the snow yourself, or going out in the cold simply to get a gallon of milk from your local Twin City grocery store, may seem to make sense now, but please give it some thought first as it may cost you more in the long run. Contact your local care givers and they can help you out getting these simple tasks completed. Stay at home and stay warm!!
